Washburn's Interact Club under Rotary International will be taking orders for student shirts tomorrow. The shirts will be sold for $9 and all funds will be donated to Rotary Clubs in the Bahamas through Puerto Rico's Rotary District 7000 to help support them after the Hurricane Dorian. For more details about the aid organization and how the funds will be used click on the link at the end of this post.
Our first activity will be on September 28, 2019 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Our club will meet in school during the week at school before the event.
Washburn School Interact Club’s First Event Rotary International- Separate the date and come to our first event. We will meet other members of Interact clubs and have a great experience!
September 21, 2019 Activity
We would like to invite our WASHBURN INTERACT CLUB and community to join us in this activity on Saturday to help clean our coasts at 8:00 am. The activity will count as community green hours ("horas verdes comunitarias" ).
We will be supported by the Scuba Dog Society for formal safety and regulations. Other school Interact clubs under Rotary International and Club Rotario Perla del Sur were invited today to be present in various coasts including our assigned coast in La Guancha, Ponce.
