He taught languages there many years later and was inspired by the president of Washburn University, Dr. Jerry Farley.
2. Did you know that Angel Colon Aviles, 2016 Washburn School senior, is currently studying in Kansas City, Kansas, with a baseball scholarship? His brother, Andre Colon Aviles (2017 Washburn senior) is playing with the Boston Red Sox organization in the minor leagues, and his other brother, Adrian, is a Junior at Washburn School!
