WASHBURN COORDINATES A NEW STRUCTURAL BUILDING INSPECTION AFTER 5.9 AFTERSHOCK - Last Thursday, January 9th, 2020, personnel from Green Engineering Group from San Juan, Puerto Rico, including professional structural engineers, architects, and structural engineer consultants, conducted a school-wide inspection in every single classroom and building at Washburn School.
Due to the 5.9 aftershock on the Richter seismological scale at 8:54 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, Washburn School will begin the structural inspection process from scratch for next week.
The visit, inspection and certification process will be spearheaded by structural engineer Jose M. Green, Architect Ricardo Cabezudo, Engineer Fernando Campos, alongside other members of Green Engineering Group.
Your child’s security and the wellbeing of all our personnel are our number one priority. Classes will start once finalize the process that will start over next week. The official certification will be available to all our parents and guardians before the first day of class.
