Important remarks:
• Students whose parents have a past due balance with the school will not be allowed to take the finals; this, until the balance is canceled.

• IsiNet accounts will be blocked to those parents with a past due balance. All the fees must be up to date including annual fees, lunchroom, monthly payments, and monthly late fees.
Reviews and final tests schedule--- May 2013:
From May 13th - 16th students will take their final tests in the morning. There will be no classes in the afternoon. Lunch will be served.
Elementary level:
• 1st thru 6th grade reviews—will be offered from May 6th to 10th, during school regular hours.
• 1st thru 6th grade final tests—will be offered from May 13th to 16th, from 7:50 AM -11:10 AM. Lunch will be served; parents must pick up their children from 11:30 AM to 12:00 noon.
• Final test repositions will be on May 16th, from 9:40 AM-11:10 AM.
Secondary level:
• 7th thru 10th grade reviews — will be offered from May 6th to 10th, during school regular hours.
• 7th thru 10th grade final tests—will be offered from May 10th to 16th. (7th thru 10th grade will take their Math final test on Friday, May 10th from 7:50 AM-10:00 AM. They will have other subjects’ reviews during the rest of the day; school dismissal will be at 3:00 PM.)
• Final tests for the secondary level will be from 7:50 AM-11: 30 AM from May 13th to 16th. Lunch will be served; parents must pick up their children before 12:00 noon.
• Final test repositions will be on May 16th, from 10:10 AM-11:30 AM.
Important information:
- Final tests are not partial, they are final. This means they must include basic skills for each subject covered in the semester.
- Reviews will include skills that will be measured in the test. Yet, those skills will not be presented in the test using the same form or structure as in the reviews.
- Try to avoid students being absent for the finals. Any reposition will only be allowed if it is due to a justified cause.
- Teachers will take their lunch break at 12:00 noon and cannot beresponsible for the students after 12:00. They will utilize the afternoon to correct tests, work on the grades in the isiNet internet portal, and to work on the end-of-semester paperwork.

- Will continue their regular school hours, from 7:30 AM-2:30 PM until Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
- There will be no school on Thursday, May 16th . The teacher will be working on the end-of-semester paperwork and on the progress report.
Kindergarten:
- Will continue their regular school hours, from 7:30 AM-2:30 PM until Monday, May 13th , 2013.
- There will be no school on Tuesday, May 14th. The teacher and her assistants will be working on the preparation and decoration for the Kindergarten promotion ceremony.
- Wednesday, May 15th at 9:00 AM –Kindergarten promotion ceremony at the “Colegio de Peritos Electricistas”, Barrio Tibes in Ponce (next to the “Centro Ceremonial Indígena.”)
- There will be no school on Thursday, May 16th. The teacher will be working on the end-of-semester paperwork and on the progress report.
Friday, May 17th – will be the last day of school for all Washburn’s students. Teachers will organize a very simple “get together” to celebrate the completion of the second semester. No lunch will be served. Parents must pick up their children from 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM.

Notas importantes
- Bajo ninguna circunstancia se ofrecerán exámenes finales a estudiantes cuyos padres tengan deuda con el colegio. Toda cuenta deberá estar al día.
- Estudiantes cuyos padres tengan deuda con el colegio no podrán
participar
de la ceremonia de promoción de grado de Kindergarten ni de la graduación de
8vo grado. Toda cuenta deberá estar al día.
- Las cuentas en el programa de notas de isiNet serán bloqueadas a los padres que tengan un balance atrasado. Los padres no deben tener deudas de cuotas, comedor, mensualidades, cargos por demora en las mensualidades, etc.
Los repasos y exámenes finales se ofrecerán de la siguiente forma:
Los exámenes finales se ofrecerán del 13 al 16 de mayo en la mañana, por la tarde los estudiantes no tendrán clases. Se ofrecerá almuerzo.
Nivel elemental:
• Repasos 1ro a 6to grado—del lunes 6 al viernes 10 de mayo 2013, se ofrecerán durante el horario regular del colegio.
• Exámenes finales 1ro a 6to grado- del lunes 13 al jueves 16 de mayo 2013 de 7:50 AM-11:10 AM. Los estudiantes saldrán a las 11:10 AM, se servirá almuerzo, padres deben recoger a los estudiantes de 11:30 AM-12:00 PM.
• Reposiciones 1ro a 6to grado- jueves 16 de mayo de 9:40 AM-11:10 AM.
Nivel secundario:
• Repasos 7mo a 10mo grado—del 6 al 10 de mayo 2013, se ofrecerán el horario regular del colegio.
• Exámenes finales 7mo a 10mo grado- del 10 al 16 de mayo 2013. (El viernes 10 de mayo los estudiantes de 7mo a 10mo tomarán el final de matemática de 7:50 AM-10:00 AM, el resto del día tendrán repasos de otras materias y saldrán a las 3:00 PM.)
• Del lunes 13 al jueves 16 de mayo los exámenes finales para el nivel secundario serán de 7:50 AM-11:30 AM, se servirá almuerzo, padres deben recoger a los estudiantes antes de las 12:00 del mediodía.
• Reposiciones 7mo a 10mo grado- jueves 16 de mayo de 10:10 AM-11:30 AM.
Información importante
- Los exámenes serán finales, no parciales. Esto significa que incluyen destrezas básicas cubiertas en el semestre.
- Los repasos incluirán destrezas que se medirán en el examen, pero no se presentarán en el examen de la misma forma o estructura que se presentó en el repaso.
- Traten de evitar que los estudiantes se ausenten durante los días de exámenes finales. Cualquier reposición será permitida solo por causas justificadas.
- Los maestros saldrán a almorzar a las 12:00 del mediodía, favor de recoger sus hijos a tiempo. Los maestros no podrán hacerse responsables de estudiantes cuyos padres no los han recogido antes de las 12:00.
- Los maestros tendrán la tarde para la corrección de exámenes y para la preparación de todos los informes finales, registrar las notas en isiNet, cuadre de registro, etc.

- El jueves 16 de mayo NO tendrán clases. La maestra estará trabajando con el Progress Report en el portal de isiNet.
Kindergarten:
- Continuarán su horario regular de clases, de 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM hasta el lunes 13 de mayo de 2013.
- El martes 14 de mayo NO tendrán clases. La maestra y sus ayudantes estarán decorando el local para la ceremonia de promoción de Kindergarten.
- El miércoles 15 de mayo – Ceremonia promoción de Kindergarten en el Colegio de Peritos Electricistas en el Barrio Tibes de Ponce, al lado del Centro Ceremonial Indigena a las 9:00 AM.
- El jueves 16 de mayo NO tendrán clases. La maestra estará trabajando con el Progress Report en el portal de isiNet.
El viernes 17 de mayo será el cierre del semestre para todos los estudiantes de Washburn, el cual será un compartir entre maestros y estudiantes. No se servirá almuerzo. Los padres deben recoger a los estudiantes de 10:30 AM-11:00 AM.
