Mrs. Ivonne Ortiz Bio

Mrs. Yvonne Ortiz was born in New York and has been working at Washburn since November 2017.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, kindergarten to 6th grade, from the InterAmerican University, San German Campus. Mrs. Ortiz teaches Kindergarten at Washburn School.

In 2012, she retired from the Department of Education of Puerto Rico. She has over 36 years of experience in teaching, 17 in kindergarten.

Mrs. Ortiz gives Reading and Writing classes in Spanish on Saturdays at Lubilu Theraphy Group in Ponce. Mrs. Ortiz loves to be creative with kindergarten activities.
