Bio
Hello! I am Ms López. I was born in Hartford, Connecticut. I studied my Bachelor’s Degree at Interamerican University in English as a second language Elementary Education. I also have an Early childhood Psychology certification. I’ve been teaching for the last five years. I’ve been a kindergarten teacher and a first-grade teacher. During the summer, I have a tutoring program called “ Wonder Brains “, where I teach students from 4 to 7 years old a fun way to read and write.
The child’s brain is an incredibly complex structure with many parts that work together to shape the child's thinking. I work to help them find their own healthy way of learning. I am excited to be a pre-kindergarten teacher here at Washburn School for this 2022-2023 academic school year.
