During lunch period Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the 11th grade will be selling popsicles. They cost $1.00 each.

Don't forget Career Day will be held on 11/9/18.

Students should come to class prepared to give an oral report about the career that they are interested in. They should also have at least one item that a person working in that career would typically wear or use. 

 

Some information that can be added to the oral report :

 

1. What do you want to be when you grow up?

2. Where would you like to study?

3. Some of the classes that are necessary for your career.

4. Why does this career interest you?

5. How will you help your community ?

3. Read the story "Magnets Work" in the text on pages 182-187.

4. Answer the following question in your notebook:

Our first test will be given on Tuesday September 11, 2018.

in the text book pages 70-75. Then answer the following questions:

1. Where does Jack live?
