We will be celebrating the activity tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions we can only celebrate the activity with students and faculty. Since 2003, parents usually come to watch the ceremony. We hope to be able to get to that type of activity soon. Some of criteria for evaluating Student of the Month nominees are the following :

 

  • A student who is an example of Washburn’s Mission and Vision (Critical thinker, attitude of a lifelong learner, precise communicators, ethical leaders, intellectual problem solvers, and caring global citizens)

  • Is a positive role model for everyone
  • Made significant progress in all areas
  • Has excelled during the month in a positive activity
  • Engages in extra-curricular or volunteers in the school or community
  • Is punctual and present in school
  • Is organized
  • Is working to their full potential and effort
  • Hands in work on time
  • Participates actively in class
  • Is polite and respectful with peers and staff
  • Shares materials and ideas with others
  • Is well behaved in and outside the classroom
  • Has not have any disciplinary issues
