But that's not all! Valeria's academic journey began at St. Lawrence University in New York, where she received an impressive scholarship of over $253,000 for her double bachelor's degree right after graduating from Washburn. Her tireless pursuit of knowledge and academic excellence propelled her forward, laying the foundation for her future accomplishments.

Currently, Valeria serves as an inspiring teacher in Maryland, positively impacting the lives of countless students. 🍎 Her dedication and passion for education are evident, and her journey from Ponce, Puerto Rico, to where she is today is truly impressive.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Evelyn Ortiz, Valeria's mother, for entrusting us with the education of her two children and her granddaughter. Her faith in Washburn School has led to remarkable achievements and infinite possibilities for her family. 🙏

Let's not forget about Abelardo, Valeria's brother, who graduated in 2021 and is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Massachusetts. Abelardo's passion for technology and his impressive accomplishments, including his study at the MIT Engineering Summer Institute, make him a true inspiration for all of us.

And the tradition continues with Carolina Caraballo, Valeria's niece and Evelyn's granddaughter, who graduated from Washburn School in 2022. Carolina's hard work paid off, securing her astonishing scholarships totaling over $1.3 million from 7 universities. Her full-tuition academic scholarships include Chapman University in California, Penn State University, Iowa State, and the University of Pittsburgh, among others, and are a testament to her academic prowess.

Currently, Carolina is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science 👩‍💻 at Chapman University, California, supported by an outstanding full-tuition scholarship of $272,000. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to her studies are truly commendable.
