Biography

Mrs. Batista was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Her passion for education began at an early age when she spent Saturdays teaching her younger brother. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (PUCPR) in Ponce and has been dedicated to the field of education since 2020, teaching at a private school in Ponce.

 

As a proud mother of two, Mrs. Batista brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work with children. In addition to her classroom experience, she has built a strong reputation as a successful tutor, helping students strengthen their academic skills and achieve their learning goals. Mrs. Batista also has strong communication skills with parents and believes that good communication is key to many things in life. 

 

Committed to lifelong learning, Mrs. Batista plans to continue her studies to further expand her knowledge and enhance her teaching practices. She is passionate about working with children and finds great fulfillment in witnessing their growth as they learn. She also enjoys exploring innovative teaching strategies that foster student success and a love for learning.

 

During her free time, Mrs. Batista enjoys writing, watching TV series, and taking road trips. She is excited to be part of the the Washburn School family and looks forward to serving as an elementary school teacher during the upcoming academic year.
