English Summer Reading Book List Reminder

Dear  Secondary Level Parents and Students,

We would like to remind you about the summer reading books and novels for Washburn's secondary level students. It is important that each students reads over the summer to hone those reading comprehension skills that are essential for their future success. The student most come prepared  to take an  evaluation the book assigned or the one they chose from the optional list. The assessment will be a "book report", "oral report" or "test" during the first few weeks of class conducted by four of our staff members. We have included the title of the book by grade. In addition, we have included other suggested readings that can replace the established books in their grade level. The books with asterisks included a bonus at the end of the evaluation. The important thing is that each student reads at least one book over the summer. The main books are available in the Libreria Educativa, but they can also be found online at a modest price and sometimes free of charge digitally through open sourcing. If you have any questions, you can contact the main office. We will gladly assist you.
