Washburn Senior Girls Make Home Stadium Debut in Coamo with a Victory to Remain Undefeated

Washburn School Senior Girls Soccer from Ponce officially debuted their home stadium in the Velodromo in Coamo Puerto Rico, marking a major milestone for the program after two years of renting facilities.

Final score: Washburn School 5 – 0 Caribbean School.

Tenth graders Andrea Aviles Miranda scored 4 goals and Amanda Figueroa scored 1 goal, providing multiple assists to her Co-Captain.

Andrea has scored  17 goals in just 9 games with 12 assists. Amanda Figueroa and her elite ball-handling skills have provided Washburn with a team-leading 14 assists and  14 goals in just nine games as co-captain of the Washburn School senior eagles.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Coamo Fútbol Club for opening the doors of their professional stadium and allowing our team to train there multiple times per week over the past two years. That partnership made this historic home debut possible.
