Due to the Tropical Storm Isaac some of the topics for the week of August 13-17 were not covered. I have included those topics in this weekly report.
7th - Pre-Algebra
-Use graphs to represent relations.
-Identify domain and range.
-Identify a function
-Use multiple representations to represent a function
-Translate among different verbal, tabular, graphical, and algebraic representations of functions.
8th Algebra I
-Solve equations with two variables.
-Represent relations.
-Interpret graphs and relations.
-Translate sentences into equations.
-Translate equations into sentences.
-Solve equations by addition and subtraction.
9th Algebra II
-Solve one-step inequalities.
-Solve multi-step inequalities.
-Solve compound inequalities
-Solve absolute compound inequalities.
10th Geometry
-Measure and classify angles. Students will use the protractor.
-Identify and use congruent angles and the bisector of an angle. Students will use the compass.
-Identify and use special pairs of angles.
-Identify perpendicular lines.
-Construct perpendicular lines
-Identify and name polygons
-Find perimeter, circumference, and area of two dimensional figures.
